He went on to excelled in those same events at the University of Oregon where he was an outstanding track star. "Our program is a comprehensive five-day high level basketball instruction and math intervention event. It is designed to work on development of the whole person and includes activities that deal with character building, improving and enhancing the athletic and academic abilities of the participants."
This is our 7th year at California State University, Long Beach. Our success in past years was phenomenal and we are looking for even greater success each year."
It’s not just a basketball camp…
Erroll Parker, Program Director
Erroll Parker was a long time varsity assistant basketball coach with Ron Palmer at Long Beach Poly High School. He helped Coach Palmer and Poly win five CIF Championships and one California State Championship and, in the same year (1984), a high school national basketball title. Today, Coach Parker is still involved with the Poly Boys Basketball Program as an Academic Coordinator in the REBOUND program. He is also the Executive Director of the Ron Palmer “Elite” Summer Basketball & Academic Camp, which is now in its 7th year.
